Kittens are typically released from our nursery after they have received the necessary vaccinations to ensure their health and well-being. The timing of when kittens are ready for adoption can vary based on their size and development, but it generally falls between 12 and 14 weeks of age.
During this time, kittens undergo a series of vaccinations to protect them against common diseases such as feline distemper, rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and feline panleukopenia. These vaccinations help strengthen their immune system and reduce the risk of illness.
The 12 to 14-week age range is important because it allows the kittens to receive multiple rounds of vaccinations, ensuring that they are adequately protected before they are placed in their forever homes. It also gives them time to develop socialization skills and learn important behaviors from their mother and littermates.
By waiting until the kittens reach this age, our nursery can provide potential owners with healthy and well-prepared kittens who are ready to transition into their new homes. This ensures a better chance for the kittens to adjust quickly and thrive in their forever homes.
Remember, owning a kitten is a lifelong commitment, so ensure that you are prepared to provide a loving and caring home for your new furry family member.

We have already taken care of the major vaccinations to give the kittens the best chance of remaining healthy. Vaccinations are an essential part of preventive healthcare for pets, and by providing these vaccinations, you are ensuring that the kittens have a solid foundation of protection against common and preventable diseases.
The animal will need to be spayed or neutered at 6 months of age. This is a responsible decision. Spaying or neutering not only helps prevent unwanted pregnancies but also offers several health benefits for the animal, such as reducing the risk of certain cancers and behavioral issues.
The timeframe set for spaying or neutering promotes responsible pet ownership and contributes to population control efforts. Spaying or neutering at an early age is generally recommended by veterinarians as it has various health and behavioral advantages for the animal.
Overall, your commitment to providing the necessary vaccinations and promoting early spaying or neutering reflects your dedication to the long-term health and well-being of the kittens. It demonstrates responsible pet ownership, ensuring that the kittens have the best chance at a healthy and happy life.

Asking questions is an important part of the adoption process because it allows us to gather information about your home and lifestyle. Every home is indeed different, and by asking questions, we aim to ensure that the kitten you receive will be well-suited to your home environment and that they will have a happy forever home.
We also ask questions about your lifestyle to ensure that the kitten's energy level, exercise needs, and temperament align with your family's environment. For instance, if you have young children or other pets, we want to make sure that the kitten will be comfortable and compatible in that environment.
By gathering this information, we can make more informed decisions and recommendations about which kitten would be the best fit for your home. Our goal is to ensure that the adoption is a successful and long-lasting match, where both you and the kitten can thrive together.
Please understand that the purpose of asking questions is to assist us in finding the most suitable kitten for your home and to ensure that they will have a happy and fulfilling life with you.
